  Thomas Aquinas   I ordered Thomas Aquinas' book Angels and Philosophy :)  Angels and  philosophy contains sections of Thomas Aquinas' Summa theologiae, which deal with the scholastic doctrine of angels. Aquinas presented, among other things, completely new ideas about the theory of motion that differed from Aristotelian physics, as well as new conceptual openings to basic questions in cognitive psychology. Thus, the work offers an interesting and best-known theological-philosophical perspective on the discussion of angels from the perspective of the history of ideas.

    My Life and Work - Henry Ford Henry Ford  "Henry Ford seems to have been ahead of his time as a business leader with his ideas. He started small, trained as a mechanic against his father's wishes, and set about developing horseless carriages, eventually leading to the automobile and great success. Today, long after Ford's death, the company he left behind is one of the world's leading car manufacturers."  "The book not only focuses on Ford's technological achievements, but also offers insights into his business philosophy and leadership style. Ford shares his thoughts on promoting mass production, using assembly line labor, and offering higher wages to his workers. He advocates for efficient organization and steady growth that benefits both the company and its employees."  The book is currently on the rear window of my Ford on the parcel shelf :)

    Pope John_Paul II Benedicta Idefelt  In fact, this book is not new anymore. I have had it for twenty years. The book deals with his life and thoughts.  "Mary Craig traveled to Poland to collect material for a biography of the new Pope. She asked: `Where would I best find such material?' She was answered: `Which Wojtyla would you like material about? A priest? A church leader? A poet? A philosopher? An actor? A student? A hero of the resistance movement? A friend of the poor? A prayer worker? An admirer of nature? Wojtyla has been and is all of these!'"  I remember how closely I always followed the Pope's Christmas greeting Urbi & Orbi every Christmas Day on television <3

    The Imitation of Christ (Thomas à Kempis) The Way (Josemaría Escrivá)  These are great books and gave me at least a little food for thought.  The Imitation of Christ is said to be the most widely read Christian book after the Bible. The author, Thomas Kempis (1380–1471), was a Dutch monk, mystic, and scholastic.   Saint Josemaría Escrivá (Josemaría Julián Mariano Escrivá de Balaguer y Albás) (January 9, 1902, Barbastro, Spain – June 26, 1975, Rome, Italy) was a Spanish Catholic priest and founder of Opus Dei. Escrivá also founded the University of Navarre and served as its Grand Chancellor. His book The Camino, or The Way, was published in 1939 (first translated into Finnish in 1972). The work spread around the world and has been printed in over four million copies.  Especially the phrase "Get used to saying no" is for me... :-/  I recommend these!

    Bible Documents of the Second Vatican Council  I ordered some books. A Bible with the deuterocanonical books and books with documents of the Second Vatican Council.  I also ordered a gold Ichthys for my mailbox.  I'm looking forward to getting to know books :)
