Ford Cortina Mark II 1,2


 Ford Cortina


 The picture shows a car similar to my first Ford. Ford Cortina 1968. I didn't get to drive it much because I was a minor when I owned it. The engine was a 1.2 Kent I4, the same as in Anglia.

 The interior was red and there was only one wide front seat. Because of this, the car had a bit of an American car feeling  :D

 I remember that for some reason, I really liked the steering wheel and the dashboard with three (or two...?) round gauges.

 Before the Cortina, I had a Mazda 1300 and after the Cortina, a Datsun 180 B.

 I owned the car in the mid-80s...

    Home Home after ...  And here is my home in the early 70s. Yes, it is same house  :D  Just one 5 x 5 m room where three generations lived; My grandmother, my father, my mother, my little brother (R.I.P.) and me.  There was no telephone, electricity, sewage, water supply, road to the yard, etc...  And I'm still alive!  :D

Home after...

    Home ...and home before  This is my childhood home. It is currently owned by my brothers. They take good care of it. The house is in good condition. They have also kept the fields in good condition and have not planted a forest on them <3  The house is located in a beautiful location in peaceful surroundings.  I visit there now and then.
