Good Friday


 Today is Good Friday. I'm going to go to mass today too :)

 Good Friday is a Christian holy day, the Friday before Easter, celebrated to commemorate the crucifixion and death of Christ. It is the only feast of mourning in the church year.

 In Old English, the day was called Long Friday (langa frigedæg) — referring to the lengthy observances of fasting and religious services, making it a day of extended devotion — and equivalents of this term are still used in Scandinavian languages and Finnish.

    Home Home after ...  And here is my home in the early 70s. Yes, it is same house  :D  Just one 5 x 5 m room where three generations lived; My grandmother, my father, my mother, my little brother (R.I.P.) and me.  There was no telephone, electricity, sewage, water supply, road to the yard, etc...  And I'm still alive!  :D

Home after...

    Home ...and home before  This is my childhood home. It is currently owned by my brothers. They take good care of it. The house is in good condition. They have also kept the fields in good condition and have not planted a forest on them ♥  The house is located in a beautiful location in peaceful surroundings.  I visit there now and then.
