St. Joseph the Worker

 Saint Joseph

Saint Joseph is the husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and the stepfather of Jesus in the New Testament of the Bible.

Joseph was a carpenter. His symbols include the Bible, carpenter's tools, the infant Jesus, a lamb, a chalice, a cross, and a monstrance.

Joseph is venerated as a saint in both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, and is the patron saint and helper of families, fathers, refugees, stewards, engineers(!), home seekers, craftsmen (especially carpenters), and doubters.

In the Catholic Church, Saint Joseph is commemorated on May 1, the Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker.
